Analysis and Recommendations:

Silver is trading at 28.993 after traders sold off to book profits after silver returned above the 29.00 price level. Silver is taking cues from gold and other precious metals as market fears eased. Outflows from Ishares, the largest Silver ETF holder continue to weigh on the commodity. Also poor eco data from the eurozone and Germany are weighing on industrial metals with the manufacturing sector continuing to contract in the eurozone.

The US dollar eased a bit today, as traders were a little less worried about Cyprus as the deadline of March 25th looms closer. The EU assured markets that the contagion was contained as lawmakers in Cyprus debate a way to find a deal. A new possibility would be a complete restructure of the Cypriot banking system, which would impose harsher losses on depositors.
